In spite of the latest regulations prohibiting pubs from selling take-away real ale, breweries can still do this.
Visit Lougborough's real ale breweries: Charnwood and Moonface to purchase your supplies.
Alternatively, pubs are still allowed to deliver real ale to your home. In Loughborough, the Needle & Pin, and the Wheeltapper are among those pubs offering home delivery.
From the 6th January, England entered a national lockdown. The guidelines indicate that pubs are not now allowed to sell take-away real ale.
This is probably the last straw for many of our pubs.

From Thursday 31st December 2020, Leicestershire enters Tier 4. This means that all "non essential" shops join Pubs and Restaurants in being forced to close.
Although there seems to be little hope at the moment for our publicans, we can all do our bit to help by purchasing take-away beer and food from those pubs offering these services.
From Thursday 3rd December, Leicestershire enters Tier 3, which means all our Pubs are ordered to remain closed.
This is a disaster for pubs in our branch area, and it is difficult to understand what the reasons are for the Government to do this.

All Pubs in England must close for 4 weeks from Thursday 5th November.
This announcement was made by the UK Government on Saturday 31st October as part of the New National Restrictions.

Pubs were allowed to reopen from Saturday 4th July. This comes after Boris Johnson announced sweeping changes to England's lockdown, including a relaxing of the 2m rule.
On Friday 20th March 2020, the government announced that all Pubs, Restaurants and Cafés would close by the end of the day.
Our thoughts are with all those affected, especially pub owners, tenants, pub staff and brewery workers.
